Supplementary material

JACM encourages authors of published articles to provide supplementary material, that shall be posted on the home page of each article on the ACM Digital Library. The ACM Digital Library provides a durable reference storage space for such additional content. Supplementary material includes, but is not limited to:

  • Refereed material (this will undergo peer review, in a similar way as research articles)
    • Appendices or content that could not be published together with the article because of space constraints
    • Errata, corrigenda, or additional notes that clarify some points of the original article
  • Unrefereed material (this will be published on the ACM Digital Library after a cursory check of readability and appropriateness)
    • Slides of talks given on the topic of the article
    • Links to follow-up papers
    • Multimedia content that illustrates the article

The refereed or unrefereed nature of the content will be displayed in a clear way on the home page of an article. See the list of all JACM articles that have supplementary material for examples of content.

If you are an author of a published JACM article and would like to provide such additional material, please contact the information director of JACM, Pierre Senellart.
